Forbes’ Zack O'Malley Greenburg sits down with Slash to talk about his new album, Apocalyptic Love, and the new AmpliTube Slash apps for iPhone and iPad.  He explains how the new Slash apps have made it easier to practice and lay down ideas for new tracks.

“AmpliTube is really a huge boom for me, because I practice a lot. I don’t like people hearing me practice, but I like it to sound good and now I can actually have a good sounding amp model right on my phone. I can practice in my dressing room, from my hotel room, on a bus, even on an airplane. I can basically do it anywhere.”

“The AmpliTube app is basically an amplifier, and it’s the same amps I’ve been using for years. So, really it applies to all of my albums.”
