If you watched the GRAMMYs a few weeks back, you may have noticed Annie Clements had an interesting thing going on with her bass. She was the bassist for Maren Morris during the live performance of "The Bones" and had an iRig Keys 2 Mini mounted to the top!

It's not uncommon for bass players on stage to play keys sometimes, but Annie made it easier than ever to switch back and forth by creating her "Bass of the Future." She scores points with bassists for having the guts to do something different, and points with IK Multimedia for choosing the right keyboard and virtual instruments for the job.

First, we had to find the perfect keyboard. And this new IK iRig Keys 2 Mini couldn't be more perfect. Being a bass player, I really like the IK Syntronik Deluxe. They've got a ton of great synth sounds. For Maren's tune, it's more of a Juno-60 vibe.
It's true. iRig Keys 2 Mini is extremely portable and offers the essential controls you need to perform live. And now we know it fits on a bass too!
Pretty cool what you can do with a Precision Bass, an iRig Keys 2 Mini, Syntronik Deluxe and some DIY talent. Thanks, Annie!
